Race Center
The Race Center (/race) brings together class standings, an incident feed and lap charts. You can also dock the 2D track map, linear map, your car’s fuel and weather. The chart automatically pins the player, leaders and nearby drivers; in the working view you can change selections, pin other drivers and browse saved sessions.
Incidents and gaps are estimates, not official penalties. Fuel belongs to your car even when the camera follows another driver. Docked panels show current data and are not saved in history. Camera, replay, clip and on-air controls appear when the desktop app enables them.
Put Race Center in OBS
Section titled “Put Race Center in OBS”- Open Race Center from the desktop app and click Stream mode in the header. The builder is not available on the phone.
- Check the blocks you want and arrange them with Move up / Move down. Choose and order the docked panels too.
- Choose an Opaque or Transparent background, a scale from 0.75 to 1.5, the standings class, language and whether to show the slim brand, track and session bar.
- Click Open preview. It opens another tab or window. To prepare a scene without driving, choose Sample data in History before opening the preview.
- Click Copy URL for OBS. In OBS: Source → Browser, paste the URL and enter your canvas width and height. Keep MonkeyOverlays open on the same PC.
The browser remembers the builder settings. After changing them, copy the new URL into OBS. The copied URL always shows the current session; preview can use the sample. This manual source does not require an obs-websocket connection.
What goes on air
Section titled “What goes on air”Stream mode shows content only: no action header, history, filters, pin controls, notebook, event actions, help or On air panel. Notebook notes never appear, even when enabled in your working view. Empty blocks hide; disconnecting does not present retained data as live.
Blocks flow from left to right, then top to bottom; narrow canvases use one column. The chart keeps automatic pins and shows pace versus the leader in seconds. With a transparent background, each block keeps its dark panel. Scale changes content density; set width and height in OBS.
